Hannah Peterson is a writer, director and educator. Filmmaker Magazine named her one of the “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” Her work has screened at Sundance Film Festival, MoMA, REDCAT, Tribeca Film Festival, and Slamdance Film Festival. 

She holds an MFA in Film Directing from California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and a BA in Screen Studies from the New School. Prior to her work as a director, Hannah mentored under filmmakers Sean Baker and Chloé Zhao.

After being cast out of his conservative diocese, Father Dan turns his exile into a wandering pilgrimage, living out of his car and drifting west. When he decides to rehabilitate a wounded coyote, he finds himself traveling with an unlikely companion and confronting the ghosts of his past. With a pistol hidden in the glovebox and a long-ignored letter from an estranged friend weighing on him, Dan must decide whether his journey will end in vengeance or redemption.
